OUR HISTORY
Emidio Benevelli start his own activities in September 1962 after experiences in "Officine Reggiane" and "Ruggerini Motori". The passion of the founder in technical innovations brought him to launch the first gearbox for agriculture and construction markets.
In that year the company passed under control to Alberto Benevelli who, ahead of his time, start to design and produce electric vehicle transmissions.
The company structure is transformed into Benevelli Group and the company stands as one of the few companies in the world able to produce (with internal cycle) transaxles, drive wheels and electric motors.
Benevelli’s goal is to make the mobility of tomorrow more efficient and affordable, focusing increasingly on electrification and lightweight concepts, driving advancements for CO2 emissions reductions forward.
